  • Kristin Gulick

    Owner, OTR/L CHT

    Kristin has been an occupational therapist for over 30 years and has been a Certified Hand Therapist since 1997. Her significant expertise in common and unique upper limb rehabilitation has led to national and international lecturing and authoring of many publications. Her early career was with Shriner’s Hospital for Children, where she worked extensively with congenital limb anomalies and cerebral palsy in children. From there she moved to become a treating manager at an outpatient hand and burn clinic at a level one trauma center in Tampa, Florida. After 9/11/2001 she joined a national prosthetic company, specializing in upper limb loss, to provide prosthetic rehabilitation at Walter Reed Army Medical Center for military members returning from Iraq and Afghanistan with upper limb amputations.

    In 2010, Kristin moved to Bend and opened Hand and Arm Therapy of Central Oregon. Opening her own clinic provided the opportunity to insure quality of care for her patients and also to work with likeminded therapists in a progressive environment.

  • Brady McGuire

    Therapist, MS, OTR/L, CHT

    Brady obtained her master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from Jefferson University in Philadelphia, PA. After graduating she was fortunate to begin her career at the prestigious Philadelphia Hand to Shoulder Center. During her time there, she worked with patients with a wide variety of acute, chronic, and postoperative conditions. She participated as adjunct faculty at the annual Surgery and Rehabilitation of the Hand Symposium for three years and guest lectured for the Occupational Therapy Department at Jefferson University.

    Brady earned her Certified Hand Therapist credential in 2020. She also uses her experience and training as an IASTM practitioner, a registered yoga teacher (RYT-200), and a Level 1 iRest meditation teacher to inform her current work with patients. She is committed to helping people regain the use of their arms for the activities that are most important to them.

  • Shanna Humphrey

    Therapist, OTR/L, CLT

    Shanna specializes in lymphedema management, myofascial release, and upper extremity neurological rehabilitation (particularly after stroke).

    Shanna obtained her degree in occupational therapy from the University of Wisconsin in 2001 and began her career in California working in acute care, including post-stroke rehabilitation, burn unit, and post-surgical recovery. She then established both the lymphedema therapy clinic and outpatient stroke rehabilitation programs at Saint Francis Memorial Hospital in San Francisco.

    With several certifications and specializations under her belt including lymphedema therapist, certified massage therapist, IASTM (instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization) certification, functional movement specialist in myofascial release and decompression, expertise with Flexitouch pneumatic pump, and Neofect computer biofeedback tools for stroke rehabilitation Shanna has a wide range of systems and tools to maximize outcomes for individual patients.

  • Michael Rabold

    Therapist, MOT, OTR/L, CHT

    Michael’s expertise is in evaluating and treating diagnoses of the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder, both surgical and nonsurgical diagnoses, as well as creating customized orthotics for stability and mobility. He is a Certified Hand Therapist, which demonstrates his advanced clinical skills and understanding of the upper extremity.

    Michael is a self-proclaimed “double gator” receiving his Bachelor’s of Health Science and Masters of Occupational Therapy from the University of Florida.

    He is a native Floridian who moved to the West Coast after graduate school to begin his career as an occupational therapist. He has worked in hand therapy clinics in California, Washington, and Oregon where he has gained experience in upper extremity rehabilitation through the mentorship of fellow therapists, orthopedic surgeons, and sports medicine physicians.

  • Michelle Kennedy

    Office Manager

    Michelle is at the heart of all day-to-day operations at Hand and Arm Therapy of Central Oregon. Michelle has been with our team since May of 2017. She provides outstanding customer service to our patients, with their scheduling and billing needs.

  • Tori Abbott

    Receptionist

    Tori is often the friendly face that greets you when you walk in the door. Tori has been with our team since December 2021. She is a master of scheduling and managing patient’s needs.
